Some websites need a full application behind them. Others mostly need to load quickly and make their content easy to find. Astro is a good option for the latter, and it's what we used to build this site.

Astro lets us send finished HTML to the browser and add interactive features where they're needed. We use that approach for sites with articles, service pages, and other content people come to read.
Your editors can keep using a CMS while Astro handles the front end. We plan how content updates reach the site, including previews and publishing.
We review what needs to move, keep useful URLs where possible, and set up redirects for the ones that change. Important pages and publishing tasks get checked before the switch.
A small codebase is a good start. Images, navigation, keyboard access, and the way content is organized still need care. We check those alongside the build.
